If you are unsure of size, check the JL sizing guide which will help you decide what size to get in the unisuit. We have a few that could be loaned out for sizing purposes as well. REQUIRED ITEMS:

Unisuit - Required for all junior rowers - VARSITY AND NOVICE, optional for U14

Each suit and tank is made for the individual. For example, ALL rowers can opt to have a shorter inseam/leg length, or anyone can opt to have a different sized top and bottom (i.e. small top, medium bottom.)

You will choose the best size for the top half and the best size for the bottom half. They may not be the same - many of our rowers have two different sizes. The top half can also be customized for those with longer or shorter torsos by adding or subtracting inches, like with the trousers.    

ALL (men's and women's) leg lengths will be the standard 7" inseam unless you note on the order form that you would like it shorter. If your rower wants to go with a shorter length, make sure you select the size MINUS one or two (inches) - i.e. M-2.  If you just select S, M, L, or XL your uni bottom will be the standard 7" inseam.

Unitank - Optional for U14 and junior rowers

Each tank is made for the individual. If you are unsure of size, take a look at the JL sizing guide to help you decide what size to get in the uni top/unitank. 

Masters - Masters rowers can choose between the masters specific tank, the unisuit, or the unitank.

OPTIONAL ITEMS:

There will be a few other JL-exclusive items in the shop as well. One of the favorite (and most popular) pieces we are offering is the (non-required) long sleeve tech shirts to wear on top of unis/tanks for sun and cold protection. Each shirt will be embroidered with the team logo. 

While we are offering the shirts in women's cut, the shirts in the men's section are fully unisex if your female rower prefers a looser fit. See size chart tab in the store for details. These shirts are a HUGE hit with the varsity, and they look great over the unis. Size up if unsure on the fit, they run a tad small.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:  

All JL items will be shipped to the apparel chair to save on shipping expenses (though there will still be a shipping charge), and she will distribute the orders when they arrive. Items will take approximately six weeks to arrive

THE STORE IS CLOSED UNTIL FALL SEASON.

If you’d like to purchase a Gore-Tex, which is very popular among the rowers, or a parka, now is the time. In order for Boathouse orders to be placed and fulfilled, each item must meet the minimum quantity requirement of 8. 

We only place these orders twice a year (spring and fall) and there’s no knowing how many people plan to order so I suggest ordering now in case we don’t meet the minimum requirement in the fall.

The Gore-Tex jackets are great during spring and fall regattas, especially when it’s a rainy one! And anytime in between.

Again, these are not required, but are really nice to have. Fit runs true to normal sweatshirt size. There is little to no stretch in the fabric. If you’re planning on wearing this over a sweatshirt, size up. These jackets are custom made items, and they.

Another option is a long, water-resistant parka. They are more popular with parents than rowers right now, but everyone who has one LOVES it. They do run large.
