LEARN TO ROW
We look forward to welcoming any High School students, Middle School students, and adults who are interested in learning the basics of our sport, and the opportunity to join our team and be on our crew! No prior experience necessary.
Youth Learn to Row
8th - 12th Grade
Youth Learn to Row includes a one week session focusing on skills development and learning the basics of our sport and how to row.
Upon completion of your Learn to Row session you are invited to join our juniors team for the rest of the summer season, including attending and competing at our hosted regatta, at no additional cost.
Summer Learn to Row Camp Dates:
Youth Learn to Row: Sweep Rowing for upcoming 8th-12th graders
Session 1: June 19-23rd, Monday thru Friday 4:45-7:45pm
Session 2: July 10-14th, Monday thru Friday 4:45-7:45pm
Session 3: July 17-July 21st, Monday thru Friday 4:45-7:45pm
Price for this camp is $195. Fee includes both camp and ability to continue rowing with the team for the rest of the summer (including at our Summer Sprints Regatta on July 29th).

U14 Learn to Scull
6th - 8th Grade
This camp will focus on rowing in Quads/Doubles/Singles (each rower has 2 oars), and is better suited to an introduction of rowing for younger athletes. Athletes will spend time on the water and land (ie at our training facility on the rowing machine) working on skills. This session is for the full summer, and includes attending and competing at our hosted regatta.
Rising or existing 8th graders can speak to a coach about which program is right for them.
Full Summer Session:
June 19th (week of) - July 29th, Mon/Wed/Thur 6-7:30pm.
Only 20 slots will initially be offered for this program. Additional slots may be created based on demand.
Price for this camp is $195. Fees include participation at our Summer Sprints Regatta on July 29th.

Masters Learn to Row

Learn to Row Program Information
If you wish to continue learning how to row after the informational session, you'll be able to sign up for our adult learn to row summer program which will run from June 5th to July 1st.
Program Details:

Adults 21+

Rowing sessions will be held twice a week for a total of 4 weeks

Monday sessions are from 6:00 - 8:00pm

Saturday sessions are from 7:30 - 9:30am

Bring water and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.)

Weather appropriate clothing

Wear a non-baggy shirt

Spandex/running shorts (short and tight fitting shorts - we row in sliding seats and long basketball shorts have a tendency to get caught in the wheels of the slide when worn)

Our boats have their own shoes in them, so please wear socks

Bring an excited and ready to learn attitude to experience a new sport and meet our crew!
