Directions:

FROM THE NORTH

I-71 south to the outerbelt I-270 west.

Take I-270 to Exit 13 (Fishinger/Cemetery Road).

Turn left off the exit.

Follow Fishinger Road to Riverside Drive (first light after crossing the river), turn right.

·      If towing a boat trailer, pull into the park at Nottingham (first light on Riverside Drive). Turn right into the park.

·      If coming as a spectator or participant, follow Riverside Drive and Parking Signs to the park entrance south of the Marine Park Police Station and park in the campground area. Shuttle buses will be available to take you to the race site area. Please allow a little extra time to get to the race site.

PARENTS: PLEASE drop rowers off before you park!

Cox&Coach Meeting is at 7:30am.

First races are the varsity men's 4s, womens Lwt 8 and men's lwt 4s.  First call for the mens 4 will be at 7:50.

 

ALL ROWERS MUST ARRIVE AT THE TRAILER by 6:45am. Parents: please drop rowers off before you park.  It wall take a lot longer to park and take the shuttle.

 

Lightweights:  Honor system

 

Rowers:  Weather is forecast to be low 60s with high winds, much like it is this afternoon.  It will be cold when you come off the water.  Bring warm cloths.  And even though rain is not predicted - BE PREPARED, just in case!!

 

Some of the novices second races are extremely tight.  Novices, we will attempt to hot seat you into a boat; however, we will be at the mercy of the boat on the water and the mercy of the officials.  They will not hold a race.

Novice men - side dish

Novice women - main dish

Varsity men - breakfast

Varsity women - healthy snack

Coxswains - dessert & 1 extra gallon of water

 

Don't forget to bring 1 gallon of water.  If you won't be there until later, send your water with your rower.  We need more in the morning than any other time of day.  Thanks to everyone for providing such great food!  Keep it coming ... We have two more regattas this fall!

Boat Loading is Friday at 5:00pm.  Matt will arrive at 4:00, if anyone wants to come earlier
