Hotel Info for Frogtown (our official overnighter) and Dayton
Here is the hotel information for the Toledo & Dayton regattas to be put on our website. There is a very short turnaround for people to make reservations from the time we will have our parent meeting and the hotel's cutoff dates. Hopefully people will be looking at the website and be aware of this. Also, a heads-up - the Hilton Toledo needs our team room assignments by Sep. 1.

Hotel reservations for Sep. 23, 2011: A block of rooms for parents has been made at the Hilton Toledo, 3100 Glendale Ave., Toledo, OH. Phone (419) 381-6800 and ask for the $99.00(+ tax) group rate for the Westerville Rowing Club . CUTOFF for reservations is: Sep 1, 2011!!
CHARLIE DOYLE MEMORIAL REGATTA
Hotel reservations for Sep. 30, 2011: Due to the closeness of this event to the Columbus area, a very small number of rooms have been blocked for parents at the Hampton Inn & Suites Dayton-Vandalia, 7043 Miller Lane, Dayton, OH. Phone (937) 387-0598 and ask for the $89.00 (+ tax) group rate for the Westerville Rowing Club. CUTOFF for reservations is: Sep. 9, 2011.
Also, a reminder that rooms have been reserved for the team only at the Head of the Hooch. No hotel that we contacted had enough rooms to accommodate the team and parents both. Parents must locate their own lodging in Chattanooga and soon!!
HEAD OF THE HOOCH
Hampton Inn in Chattanooga with possible rooms for parents. It is close to the team hotel, but as of Jun 18, they only have 15 rooms left for Nov. 4. They can't reserve a block of rooms for us because of the low quantity, so if anyone is interested they should make a reservation as soon as possible. It is the Hampton Inn at 3641 Cummings Highway, Chattanooga, TN, (423) 821-5500. They only have 15 king rooms left and only 3 of those have a sleeper sofa. She quoted a price of $104 + tax per night. Don't bother mentioning Westerville Crew...that will mean nothing to them.
Another hotel nearby that they might try is the Country Inn & Suites at 3725 Modern Industries Blvd., Chattanooga, TN (423) 825-6100. No one called me back from that hotel, but they may have room. THIS REGATTA IS LIMITED TO VARSITY ROWERS ONLY
