Wrenches and Seat Pads

posted Oct 16, 2009 6:59 AM by Westerville Crew

We have officially gone through 345,367 7/16 wrenches this season.  Our entire profit from the Columbus Fall Classic goes into our wrench fund.  If your son or daughter has a wrench or ten on their dresser, please implore them to bring the wrenches to crew tomorrow morning.  Ditto for seat pads.  I understand that there is a rumor afloat that we melt down excess wrenches into metal blocks to which we attach to novices, before throwing them overboard, when they fail to get adequate backsplash on the catch.  That rumor is utter nonsense, (but where did those novices go?)

Photos

If you imagine yourself an Ansel Adams with your expensive digital camera in hand, or even much less qualified, Westerville Crew would like your photos for posterity.  During winter erging, we show thousands of old and recent photos in a huge digital carousel. It takes some of the boredom out of rowing.  Send this pics on a CD or DVD to workout and have your rower hand it to Matt.  He'll do his best not to stick it in his pocket and sit on it for two hours during practice.

Erg- If you borrowed an erg from Westerville Crew, please email Trish - tchase@medtuity.com
